I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The view of the tea garden and Mount Kinabalu from my cottage was mesmerizing. It was so relaxing and peaceful, I wish I could have stayed for weeks. The staff were friendly and the check-in service was great. The rooms in the longhouse were basic but clean, and I loved the added benefit of a small sink. The toilets and shower facilities were excellent and well-maintained. The hotel also had a small children's playground and plenty of space to run around. The food was delicious and the fresh air in the morning was invigorating. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.
Everything was fantastic.

I recently stayed at Sabah Tea Garden Villa for a few days during my trip to explore the Tea Factory tour. The highlight of my stay was definitely the tour itself. Hamid, our guide, was fantastic and accommodated our request to speak in English so that our Australian guest could understand. It was such an interesting and fun experience. The food and drinks at the hotel were also great, especially the curry chicken and pineapple juice. And the shop had a good range of teas to choose from. The location of the villa is truly magical, with a fabulous view of Mount Kinabalu. Despite not having shiny modern facilities, the bungalow was clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed. The breakfast and dinner were both decent, and I highly recommend paying respects at the nearby Death March memorial. it was a wonderful stay and definitely worth it.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Amazing views of the mountain and surrounding area. The location of the hotel is magical and offers a fabulous view of Mount Kinabalu. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The tea plantation tour was worthwhile and the breakfast and dinner options were decent. a great place to stay for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.
Some areas of the hotel were in need of renovation and could have been cleaner. There were also some issues with the receptionist not picking up the phone, which was frustrating.

The staff at the restaurant and the manager were absolutely awesome! They were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even gave us a ride to the bus station, which was a lifesaver in the hot weather. The food and tea were out of this world, and the cottages were super cute with a separate lounge area. We loved the Malaysian breakfast options, but they also had toast if you preferred. The walks around the area offered jaw-dropping views of Mt Kinabalu, both in and out of the clouds. The longhouse was really interesting to see, and despite a few quirks, the whole experience was mind-blowing. The convenience of amenities like free wi-fi, a dryer, electric kettle, cookware/ kitchen utensils, air conditioning, flat-screen TV.

The tea served here is a must-try and the variety of options was impressive. The area has a lot of potential, making it a great choice for couples or small families.
